Already confirmed sightings in the North and East.  Very early.  Coming to a Rowan tree near you, keep your eyes peeled

There was a sighting of over a 1,000 from a North Sea oil rig last week. It all bodes well, rowan.

I do hope so, Rowan. I've yet to see them (Cheshire) and would really love them in our garden.

Finally saw them last winter, small flock just 5 minutes from my flat,  they hung about for about a week, then moved to Longbridge.  West Midlands birding do loads of alerts, as do waxwings sightings uk, and birdguides.  I subscribe to birdguides so  I will post updates.

That's most kind of you, Rowan. Thank you.
