does any one know who sang the 'skipping' song, 'do the double dutch'?

Also 'shame' or 'it's a shame'? (female artist)

i've had a lot of luck on this site before, so i'm hoping that it's the same again!

Malcolm McLaren and the Bootzilla Orchestra did Double Dutch. Monie Love did It's A Shame.

McLaren did it with the Bootzilla Orchestra (in case you thought I meant different versions)

Malcolm McLaren did it *without* the Bootzilla orchestra. The Bootzilla Orchestra stuff came much later in his career.

ge.m135 and jenstar I apologise for the duff info re the Bootzilla Orchestra. That's what happens when you try to read the Guinness British Hit Singles in the dark. I mis-read the record lnumber as a note referring to them.
