Down Under...?

According to Wikipedia, these were the reputed last words of Charles I (d. 30.1.1649)
Someone asked this (in Adverts I think, for some reason) a week or so ago. People from Liverpool and Manchester over to me in Yorkshire had heard of it; others swore it did not exist. I've heard it mainly in the form 'he/she has seen his/her arse', to mean, 'he/she is in a mood, has gone off in a sulk'.
