Does anyone know where I can purchase a book by John Fairfax Blakeborough called Racecourses of Yorkshire: Doncaster, York, Redcar, Thirsk, Pontefract, Ripon, Beverley, Catterick and Wetherby.
I have tried Amazon & Abebooks to no avail.

Looks as though it's long since out of print. Your best bet is to see if a local library either has it in stock or can obtain it from another library via an Inter Library Loan, although this may cost, depending where you are.

It sounds like the sort of title that's likely to be held by a university library.
It might be worth contacting Browzers, in Manchester. They have several of JFB's books in stock. Although these don't include the title you want, they might be able to source one for you:

If viewing a reference copy would suffice, it's likely there will be copies held in many reference libraries (or local studies units) throughout Yorkshire. (The book only has 68 pages, so you might be able to copy any relevant parts).
