Hire/Loan/Rent and borrow!
12 Answers
We operate a bike hire scheme but we can't use hire a bike or rent a bike - how do we rephrase it without saying borrow a bike (yuk!) or even worse, loan/lend a bike! Any ideas?

The problem I have is the manager has changed the poster on the bike (and other literature) to 'loan me' from 'hire me', which sounds awful! I need to come up with an alternative fast that doesn't imply a legal contract and exchange of funds!
