Scones Poem

Does anyone know the little ditty which explains the two pronunciations of the word scone. Where one rhymes with gone and one rhymes with gnome. Thanks in advance.

I'm unfamiliar with the ditty, but the two obvious pronunciations surely rhyme with gone and tone rather than gnome. There is, of course a third; namely, the place-name in Perthshire associated with Scottish kings...pronounced to rhyme with moon.
