Rover 75 Bonnet Catch

I have a Rover 75 and the bonnet catch wire has come away under the bonnet. Any ideas on how to get the bonnet open ?

i think you will probably have to do it from underneath the car, lie underneath with your head looking up to where the bonnet closes on the front panel ( you will probably need a torch ) and see if you can manipulate the bonnet catch open using something like a long screwdriver. or if you could manage to remove the front grill it would be pretty easy to then open the bonnet.
