Well, Newton's Third(?) law of motion says that things will tend to slow down (ie. Entropy will always increase, things will always become less ordered, objects will break down rather than repair themselves over time, etc.) though I'm not sure there's an equation to cover that.

Eachbetween 0 and 9 - this gives you an answer betwene 0 and 8.6 - the higher, the mor elikely bad luck is!
