I can't think of the word!

I'm writing an essay. It's a proper academic essay so I need everything to sound good and I'm trying to come up with a nice, or at the very least less subjective, way of saying "footballer's-wives-y". I'm trying to describe a nightclub of the kind you see d-list celebrities stumbling out of in gossip magazines.

I know that isn't a word but I kind of need a synonym to that effect! Any ideas? I don't even know if one exists!
