a question that is banned.

We are very new to answerbank and recently asked a question, 'What would you rather be or a wasp'.  We had three answers, and now have found that the question is banned.  Can anyone tell us why is was banned, and how??

You've missed out a noun again in the question - a what or a wasp?

The AnswerBank is patrolled and moderated by an AB Editor. If questions are too "chatty", they are often banned.

Indiesinger.  Thats the whole point of the question.  My dad used to ask it when we were little, but i eventually understood it.  Its just one of those stupid sayings.  Thanks for your time though, we enjoyed reading the answers we did get.  (yours amused us the most!!)

As my learned friend advises, the site is montired and edited by the AB Editor - it keeps personal abuse and wandering away from the subject from cluttering things up.

If the Ed. decides that a question is not actually asking for an answer - as it seems yours was - then it can get bumped.

The ethos of the site is - a Question, which promotes Answers, and maybe some debate, and these usually find their own natrual shelf life, and are left alone. The cryptic or bon mot type tend to get deleted. If you need a sepcific answer, tou can e-mail the Ed., who will reply to you personally.

You're definitely not alone rojash but nonetheless AB is a great site even allowing for quirky Editors. I've given up waiting for a further response to an unsatisfactory reply....but life goes on.  It takes all sorts etc etc.
