sunday telegraph quick crossword help please

22 across 6 letters clue comport - which I understand to mean behave cohere etc. but I have s-l-c- and the only word I can come up with is solace - do you think they have mistyped comport to mean comfort?

Just checked the on line version which also gives the clue as comport. However I answered with solace which was submitted and accepted as correct

I agree but maybe I have gone wrong with the other clues somewhere - have you done this crossword?
Is there a misprint in the clue. If it was comfort then solace would fit.

yes, I agree it would be solace if it was comfort but no known the Telegraph to get many clues wrong ....
