Ever been stuck in a lift?
33 Answers
I almost was today. I was in Harrods and the lift wouldn't go down to the lowest level. My husband pushed the buttons and nothing was happening, the doors wouldn't open. I took my coat and cardigan off immediately and was panicking big time! We prob weren't stuck in there for long (half a minute maybe), but it got me thinking about people who do get stuck and if you have, how did you cope?
Thank god the door opened as I really think I would have had a panic attack. If we had got stuck, I would have demanded some free goods from there lol.

The half a minute we were stuck felt like longer than that. I don't know how you coped nungate and mamy in there for that long.
I was panicking thinking that the alarm wouldn't work and what if I can't get signal on my phone etc.
I'll prob be having a nightmare about this tonight now lol

I've been stuck in lifts a couple of times at work.
I am not at all claustrophobic in lifts and I have the patience od a platoon of saints, so I simply regarded the experiences as a minor incnvenience.
I realise I am lucky with my approach, and a lot of people do suffer with panic attacks and so on.
