MM and KM Links June 2012 Week [2]
4 Answers
Mid month, so the current leaders are not safe from being overtaken in either game
Both games will be found in Q&P tomorrow morning.
The KM version will start as soon our Australian colleague, Seekeerz, works out what the Telegraph GK shaded answers are. No rush though, points available remain the same until midnight on Sunday.
The MM Game, set this month by our 'Godfather, 'Don Corleone' aka deecee131, starts with an introduction at 8:45am and the challenge words will be revealed at 9:00 precisely.
In both games, the object is to chose 4 words that when coupled with the four declared words make either a new word or a well-known phrase (but not a person's name).
Last weekend, the Sunday Telegraph got me wondering. Was 'Don Corleone' moonlighting as 'Salamanca'?
In the Enigma Variations crossword, the answer to 18a was DEE and the answer to 16a was CEEs! Deecee131 denies all knowledge of such involvement. (But he would - wouldn't he?)
The Shrubbery' is now open for the usual Friday-night socialising and frivolity.
Shelter from the rain is available in the potting shed, but please don't knock over the moonshine still.
Enjoy yourselves and don't overindulge on intoxicating substances.
Until tomorrow then - Happy Linking
