Snuter may mean snob but not sure. (Sanga's N makes it snuter)

Also is 9d Main parts of atlas etc that’s red, raj appearing endless (6)

CENTRA (red CENT plus RAj)?
How does Main Parts fit in with the answer?

The an (one) in Sanga led me to the wrong answer.

Snut means to curl the nose disdainfully and a soutar is a cobbler but I can't work out the parsing.

In case you are still wondereing about the answer for 9D. The definition is main parts of atlas etc. Atlas can mean the first vertebra nearest the skull. A centrum is the main part of a vertebra. As this is a Latin word the plural is centra.
