Belated thanks, B.
my pleasure

Just noticed that SINAQUIST knocks out 29 across, for which I had SMAD. Scot's stain with eg Curry and Rice overturned (4) SMAD. Both Curry and Rice are DAMS and a SMAD is a Scottish word meaning STAIN.
SMIT is another Scottish word for stain, and Curry and Rice are 2 Tims (so reverse that)
Question Author
Thanks again. That works.
phew, it did take a bit of brain flogging for this time of the morning
