Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Please help - I have loads of answers but can't fit them in. Please can anyone tell me what the clue about French directional indicators means to help me start writing in the answers?

Nord & Sud appear in row 1 and row 15 of the grid, and est and ouest in colums 1 and 15 (but the last two are in the wrong columns - i.e. est is on the left and ouest on the right).

I quite forgot about that indicator and was lucky to fit my 1st 10 -letter word - the "K" in the across position near top right. "J" fits in across position bottom left. Hope that helps

The French words for North, Southm, East and West (Nord, Sud, Est, Oest) can be read in the perimeter of the completed grid. In the correct solution, the words for North and South (but not East and West) are in the appropriate positions, ie. top and bottom. The grid can also be completed differently, with across answers becoming down answers etc, but this solution is wrong because NONE of the directional indicators is then in the right place.
