Outlook Express Error message

I had the unfortunate problem of a company attempting to sell me goods I have no use for.....Over 300 emails and also mail to state mail could not be sent etc. After finally clearing out my "In & Out trays I am still unable to send mail (Incoming is fine) I get the message:-
An unknown error has occurred. Subject '', Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'smtp.tools.sky.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.4.5 Daily sending quota exceeded. g5sm3984534lbk.7', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69
As it states "Daily sending quota" does it mean I will be ok again tomorrow?

Sounds like your email account has been compromised, have you reset your password yet? If not I would do so immediately. You should be able to send emails tomorrow once this is done.

Hmm - incoming emails don't count towards your daily sending limit, so I'm wondering if you have picked up some malware which is using your computer as a spam relay - do a Google for computer zombie.

You can get this error if the dbx file of your Outlook express is corrupted. So to fix this error you can use outlook express 6 inbox repair tool as it can work on all versions of Outlook express.

If the dbx file is no longer shown in quarantine, I have no better solution than what you have been advised and already tried.
