Is it anything to do with the first letter of 12D?

I used a photocopy first so was able to leave it blank in the real grid - i'm not safe with the real grid straight away - I always make mistakes!

Same here. I always make photocopy.
In my case I blacked out the cell, which was big mistake.

Won't get today's - friend brings the Sat Indy for me but not this week cos he's away and will bring the Telegraph from his parents' house instead. He goes home to Liverpool every 3 weeks so I miss out on the Indy those weekends - perhaps I'll have to go out and buy it myself!
