How Do I Get My Internet Explorer Back ?

Not had internet access for over a week, BT fault. I now have it and went on my desktop yesterday and have deleted my Windows 8 somehow and the tile to get into it to start it off. I have a Dell Inspiron 660. Please help me in easy stages. TIA x

Your post isn't very clear. Do you really mean the operating system Windows 8 has been deleted so you can't use your desktop at all?

If you mean you can't see the tile or icon for Internet Explorer on Windows 8, go to the tile page and search for 'Internet Explorer' and you should find it.

sorry, I can use my computer, record of te windows system, as I have uninstalled it by mistake

I have never had any experience of Windows 8. However, the following link may assist your re-setting Internet Explorer; if you really want to use it as your Default Browser. :-

Go on to your tiles page and type 'Internet Explorer' in the search box.

Use the search facility to look for iexplore.exe

When you've found it, right-click on it and look for an option to put it back onto your desktop. (In earlier versions of Windows its Send To>Desktop. Windows 8 might be different though).

This may be no help but I suspect you have a working Wondows 8 Operating System, but have disabled the Internet Explorer browser ?

if you find the exe then use the 'pin to start' option (when right-clicking) to put the tile back on the start screen

I cant cope with any of my 2 computer problems at present, thank you all for your help, but I am going to sign up for a 24 hour support site, I need someone to take me through it all. I need to get rid of the cache as well and I cant get that right either I have tried x
