So Ed now comes up with another idea. No vote unless powers are transferred to Bruxelles. Be a bit late by then though wont it, we will be part of federal Germany by then and we all know what that will mean.

So, for me it still looks like labour are the party of 'Do as we say, we know better than you'.

This is the same pledge Cameron made about the Lisbon treaty and some people bought it, poor gullible fools. Of course you never got your vote.

Exactly Gromit and I was extremely angry about it. I did write to my MP and as a card carrying Tory I also expressed my displeasure through those channels.

But the question is; would Ed do the same? I strongly suspect he would'

Of course milliband would shaft us on a referendum. He doesn't want one and has said so in the past. It is just to catch the gullible floating Labour voters cos it sure as hell won't sway tory voters...

I do not believe Cameron really wants a referendum on in-out membership of the EU either. He imposed a 3 line whip on his party back in October 2011 in an effort to vote down a motion to have the referendum in the first place.

And if he was really that keen on having a referendum - why not have it during this parliament?

None of the major parties want to leave the EU.

He is not offering an In or Out referendum. He is definitely for staying in.

What he does say is that if anymore powers are to go to Brussels, we will have a referendum on that. Most of the rest of Europe did that before the Lisbon Treaty was ratified but Brown denied us a say.

The Conservatives have a very poor record of giving away to Europe. We were not permitted a say under Heath when we joined in the first place. We were not asked if we wanted to join the Exchange Rate Mechanism, and that cost us £billions.

Well that's three parties I won't be voting for , Lib, Lab, Con . None of them want us to vote in a referendum. Cameron is just stringing us along . I think the title Con is the apt description.
