Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. I was supposed to have the onset of it when I attended a stop smoking clinic about 12 years ago. I had to have a very exacting lung/respiratory function test prior to major surgery several years ago (aortic bypass). I was told I had the lungs of a fourty year old which was amazing since I was cashiered from the wolf cubs at the age of 6 for smoking in the church graveyard.!!!!
