This is a mensa teaser out of the daily express which i missed the answer to,
Two vehicles set off from the same point to travel the same journey,the first vehicle sets off nine minutes before the second vehicle,if the first vehicle travels at 100km/hour,how many kilometres from the starting point will the two vehicles draw level?,thanks in advance to whoever helps

The first car has a start of nine minutes before the second car sets off.

If the first car travels at 55 km/h and the second car travels at 60 km/h, how many kilometres from the starting point will they draw level?

The problem seems too similar to the one Mamyalynne posted bit it seems odd that there is such a difference in the speed info. I've done Mamya's calculation in my head but after a few glasses of red I can't be sure

distance = speed x time
Let the time taken by the 60 kph one be T and the distance D

55 x (T+(9/60)) = 60T
55T + 495/60 = 60T
495/60= 5T
T= 99/60

D= Speed x time = 60 x 99/60 = 99

Well I think the problem is that the OP has not confirmed whether what they posted is correct or the version Baldric and I alluded to is the right one.
