Todays puzzle 1 across is either absent or doesnt make sense - (this is NOT uncommon with this crossword)
BUT I can't get it - 1 across seems to be missing altogether. ?

Sorry fooks - the Crossowrd is every Monday and is called Crossbar - and is sports based.

I have a few letters - but no idea how long the answer is-

Could be almost anything - sport connected and may even not be that long !

well done Douglas - it has to be that as a lot of the Crossword is about the Grand Slam etc. They don't tell you how long and mark the divisions between clues with thick lines - which are often in the wrong place. I have won it a few times -£30.00 ! Good for you Douglas ! Many thanks.
