Batteries

I have a little digital phonebook - a tiny thing -
keyboard - you enter name and phone book and email if you want -but it is precious to me as it holds many numbers. it is also sorta battery powered and when I took the battery out I never saw such a funny looking battery
like a small round "old" shilling - or like a flattened locket - where on earth could I get a battery for that - failing that I may have to get a new one as in new phone book but then I have the task of typing all the names in again.
Just a place to look for for the new battery. Thanks

Well got the batteries and replaced them and just as I thought all the phone numbers are gone.
I am not a mobile person however started to put some numbers but it is an old phone and takes ages to insert one number.
Am thinking of buying a new one but know the same thing will happen again - however did get about 5-6 years out of this. Do you think I should get another one or is there a similar gadget out there. Thanks

Hi jj. have a look at this link & see if you can recognise your model, then google sharp electronic organiser model ******* & see if you can obtain a model help booklet which may help to get your missing numbers back.

Oldred - thanks so much - you have saved me some trouble- whilst your manual was a different sharp number - I googled the correct number was El6910 - followed some instructions and I am back to a usable gadget.
I will just take my time in inserting some numbers back again - of course I have lost some but they will come back again.
Thanks so much !!!!
