The way she has got on with her duties, considering husband taken to hospital, now out, visiting the people from the fire, and Manchester hospital, opening Parliament, and now at Ascot.

And what an entrance she made, with the horse and carriages, an envy from other country's I would expect.

Whatever the problems we have in the UK, I am still proud to be British!

I don't believe she sees being at Ascot as a 'duty'. I'm almost certain that if she had her way, she'd be at the races every day.

Even at Ascot, Ken, she's got the cameras trained on her. One stumble, yawn, snappy word, ladder in her stockings and she's all over the papers, and she knows it. Must be very trying,

I like her a lot.
Never was born into doing the job, but wow, she's done it very blooming well for such a long time and I hope for many more years to come.

Remember the time when one of her horses won?
(Maybe Ascot, not sure) but the camera filmed her reaction, an excited little girl at Christmas who was given what she asked Santa for.
