1. It's Friday - who doesn't love Friday !

2. I've just had a big bowl of thick, homemade, warming soup.

3. One more week and I will hopefully break up for annual leave.

4. My husband is taking me away next Sunday for a night in a hotel, nice meal, shopping, etc.

5. A very nasty person at work is about to get her comeuppance.

3. Off to Fife this weekend and maybe Glasgow Sunday.
4. I'm making new friends around the world in the Diabetes community and I love it.
5. My washing machine got fixed so I can do laundry again.

We are having a takeaway from an excellent local restaurant this evening.

I woke up this morning.

The sun is out and there is barely a cloud in the sky.

The people I let into my life enrich it rather then drain it.

I value and appreciate what I have in life and feel no need to chase rainbows.

Going to see Dirty Dancing at the Liverpool Empire tomorrow and a meal at an Italian first, just had a Magnum double raspberry (double yum) and keep looking at my lovely new stair carpet laid two days ago !!

can't beat a good local restaurant imo.
Our best local chippy was the envy of any who dared start up in opposition, anyhoo, the owner retired, son took it over and err, well, it's not been the same since.
