Hi wiltsman - you're right, 'Tay' sounds better - I do so few quizzes I'm rarely on the wavelength of the setters & was pleased to have thought of *an* answer, so just jumped in :-)

Mine works if you use one of them there weird Northern accents...

Thank you L-I-K. I got the first bit of the answer, but when it got to 'Man' why didn't I think of 'Gent' as an answer? I was thinking of various answers such as Male, Chap, even Crew as in Man the lifeboat! But why did I miss Gent?? Oh, the answer still sounds OK with a West Country accent!
