As a long-term Dog Owner I would go to great lengths to protect my Dogs, but I genuinely believe in this case there is no chance of the Animal recovering an acceptable 'Quality of Life' so no I will not, sorry I know that's not what you want to hear, but it's how I feel.

Having read the story, I have to agree it would be kinder to put him to sleep. His quality of life will never be very good, sorry.

My friend's dog had the same problem and ended up at the same rehabilitation centre. Luckily, her paralysis was spotted immediately and she was operated on in time to save her spinal cord. The whole thing cost nearly four grand and the dog now has full mobility. She would have been put down if that wasn't the case. Very sad for the dog in this case but he is never going to recover so there is no point in throwing a load of money away.
