He needs to go on the road here in areas that voted remain to convince them of all the good reasons for Brexit.

What’s the point, other than appearance fees and a grand holiday, of campaigning in a country that has no bearing whatsoever on making a good Brexit.

Carry on with all the TV appearances and all that stuff but get your boots on the ground. Get convincing and turning opinion around here first. There’s still a long way to go to get a proper Brexit and a good deal for the UK.

So it should be no surprise to his constituents that he is swanning about Australia when he is supposted to be representing them in the European Parliament (and being paid £80,000 despite never being there).
