In light of Ed's absence I am bringing you the monthly Weight loss & Dieting thread!
Last month's thread is here.
It is the month of Christmas. Are you lapsing or are you keeping on track?
I would like to thank Rowanwitch for starting the discussion on the 1st of December, which can be found here. However, this will be the official Weight loss & Dieting thread.

I'll have the odd choccy or nice nibbly things in the run up. I won't be depriving myself so I can splurge on Christmas Day. I'm too busy to eat much on the day, anyway.

Slow cooker was very busy yesterday, lean beef and onions, tons of smoked paprika, today it will be making carrot and onion soup base and its big brother will be cooking a chickpea curry. I love winter comfort food. I have discovered strangeness bags. Chop up your veg seal in the bag 3 -5 minutes in the microwave perfectly steamed and no lost goodness.
Tell us what you do at your Over 50s and how long is it.
My training is an hour twice a week. We are about 8 in my group. Most of us have been together for the last 3 years. We have a physiotherapist with us and each has individual exercises to help get the poorly bits working again. It’s wonderfu to see the way my group goes at it and their advancement.

Aaagh, it was an old fashioned aerobics class crossed with high energy dance based step without the step Lots of squats and stretches all done at a jog, with the rest done while in a deep squat against the wall plus wall push ups, couldn't quite finish but there is a lower energy one on Tuesdays. Was a sweaty wreck for over an hour afterwards.
