Why Is This Not Reported More?
This seems to be a highly important step in future UK - EU relations, but I haven't seen it reported, could it be contrary to 'project fear' and the remain agenda?

Yes and no doubt the UK will remain in the aviation convention and the medicines convention as well as quite a few others. These matters are not to do with EU membership as such but are simply common sense arrangements so that neighbouring countries can do business with each other unencumbered by needless red tape. It is only the "worst case scenarios" promulgated by Project Fear that see planes grounded, people dying through lack of medication and lorries parked from Dover to Sevenoaks along the M20/M26.

It's not a magic bullet, though, and if I've understood this correctly there will still be barriers for goods that have the UK as their final destination (like, for example, about 30% of the food this country consumes). That's still going to cause major disruption, even if it's somewhat mitigated by excluding transit goods.
So in terms of coverage, it's not getting reported because it doesn't seem to be all that significant.

The problem with describing anything negative as "project fear" is twofold. Firstly, it's just a different type of agenda -- Project Complacency, you might call it; and, second, it essentially allows people to sell anything short of a genuine crash or recession as somehow successful.
Don't pretend you're somehow exposing mainstream conspiracies, or that you are paragons of impartiality, by highlighting this. It's just a different type of lie.
