THELAND believes parts of the Bible show the values of pi and the mathematical constant "e" using the values of letters in each word and the number of words in the verses.

3.1416 x 10 to the 17 = pi to 4 decimal places?? No it doesn’t.
And I think there are more than two “fundamental constants”
Planks’ constant would seem to be the most appropriate one here.

As a theory, I don't think you can count on it.

My husband favours 5, 7, 8 and 13 and dislikes 2, 4 and 6- not much of an idea why though. I like 13 and 18, 18 because traditionally it's a special number in Judaism and I saw it a lot growing up in choices my mother made. Do either of us believe in numerology, not especially it's just a leaning towards things to favour I think.

Far be it from me to support what is otherwise utter dross, but nevertheless if some number happens to be, say, 3.1415926 *10^23 or whatever, then I don't think the "*10^23" distracts from the fact that the significant digits are the same as the leading digits of pi. All you would need to do, after all, to extract pi is to divide by 10^23.

Still, it *is* utter dross. Combining any random sample of text, in the Bible or otherwise, in the way they suggest, would more or less lead to the same results.
