Lynne, I did think of tope, but it doesn't fit the letter pattern.

Hi Folks, sorry I did not get to you's earlier but something cropped up.
I must also apologise also because I gave the wrong letters (5) the letters should have read B?o?e - so the answer was Booze...thanks to All for their input.
