Shame they're not extinct.
Haven't the government got a disused military base somewhere that they could quickly convert to cells to hold them all ? Blockades are surely illegal.
Fine group with a worthy cause
Now where did I put those water cannon? Oh yes - sold them abroad - RATS!
Some have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance. Some 'worthy' cause. :o/
I hold no brief for this group but we must preserve our rights to lawful public protest.

An intelligent person would recognise that one can't pick and choose which organisations get to protest and which don't.

The European Court of Human Rights has recently approved pre-emptive arrests of people who 'might' commit a crime. This is chilling.

Have a look at the current situation in Hong Kong for where this type of law enforcement leads.

soon to be the courts of the eussr...how else will the empire keep its slaves under the thumb of servitude and protect itself from those that wish to harm its very being?

It is indeed... but that isn't happening in this instance. These people, I believe, have one goal. Disruption. Other than that what do they actually expect to achieve?
They can't be all bad. They got a standing ovation at the Labour Party Conference.

Great answer
Police have arrested four of them and seized articles that they usually use for causing obstructions e/g a boat etc.

is that any different to the current case being heard by the Court of Session, in which the learned m'luds sitting in judgement of lawbreaking that might take place, and yet is being greeted by huge "hurrahs" by those who criticise the ECHR for the same thing?
Aye, some lads from oop north got several years each in prison for belonging to a far-right organisation.
The Chief Constable said 'It's not about what they have done, it's more a case of what they might do'.
//They got a standing ovation at the Labour Party Conference. //

That says it all.

The older lady.."billions will die"

The younger lady.

We must eat locally sourced food.

What would that be in central london.
Rats, pigeons, grass?
If this so called peaceful protest had been a protest against the rise of Islam in this country it would not been allowed to take place under the excuse of freedom of protest. WHY?
Can you give an example of an anti muslim demonstration which has been banned, AOG? And...........There's no such thing as banning something using anything called 'freedom of protest'.
134 arrests so far.
Ah, so they've made a start then.

//134 arrests so far.//

I believe that is part of their warped strategy. They want to attempt to cripple the justice system and get an inordinate amount of police man power directed away from other serious crimes.
Nicked and transported en masse to some deserted Hebridean Island and abandoned would be a viable alternative to this detrius.
