Thank you very much for taking the time to email Tesco Customer Services.
I am sorry if you are disappointed that we continue to sell fireworks in our stores. We like to offer our customers the opportunity to celebrate Bonfire Night and we have no plans to cease the sale of fireworks at this time.
I do however appreciate many of the good points you’ve raised and rest assured that I will have your concerns and comments on the matter logged and fed back appropriately. I have no doubt that our Head Office will be monitoring public opinion on this issue very closely. If we do make any changes to our policy, that information will be made publicly available.
Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to contact us. Have a good weekend!

I also pointed out that because the fireworks go on sale 3 weeks before Nov 5th, some irresponsible people are letting them off day and night, they're not taking them home to save them for one night.
Lol Woof :-)
As I said on the other thread it's also Diwali and they celebrate over a few weeks with fireworks. If it was just a few days pet owners can do their best to make things as less scary as possible but weeks of it, not just for pets, anyone with anxiety, it really does become an issue.
SK...I really like fireworks too. The last display I went to they were left off to Pink Floyd. Lovely to watch but we know this display happens annually (I didn't have a dog at the time)
