Technology - Ipad Problems

Hi i went to go into my ipad today and i was asked to put in my Passcode, i have forgotten this and have looked thru all the ways to get around this even Apple help site and they gave me a new verification code to put in but this still didn't work it's still disabled but now i am getting a message Ipad is disabled connect to Itunes how can i do this when i can't get passed this screen ... Also when i try to connect my Ipad to my PC it is not showing any connection, but my iphone connects with no problems.. Can anybody give me some advice it would be much appreciated.
