Resigned after less than 6 months in the post of Scottish Conservative leader. Back to selling cars or do you think he will get a seat in the Lords along with Ruth the Mooth?

Oh Gawd. BBC started auto-playing videos ? Must stop going there, then.
Why should he?

He felt he wasnt up to the job, he resigned. Good on him actually too many, of all colours, carry on with their blithering incompetence.

I watched him at first ministers questions the other day. Oh dear! , had to be pushed .
Leader of the Scottish Conservative Party must be one of the worst job in politics.
2 leaders resigning because they couldn’t tow the party line. Interesting this resignation has come a few days after a morale boosting visit to Scotland by the Prime Minister.
Nothing to do with the question,but...Nationalism and nationalists are widely reviled throughout the world.Up here in Scotland must be the only place where they get voted back in again and again.Must be something to do with the Scottish psyche.

Looks like Douglas Ross might replace him. Scottish Tories know they need to put clear blue water between themselves and Johnson/Cummings (the former has a minus 56 approval rating there). Mr Ross would be a good start.

Some of us who live here shake their heads in despair at the twinkers who think they are politicians.
We are all extremely grateful that Boris travelled 'all the way to Scotland'
