I'm Very Sorry...
9 Answers
Since faffing about with this MS Edge, I'm having problems, one of them being trying to answer ABers replies, all I get in my edit field where I reply is Microsoft flight simulator and soft thuds in the background, so I'm very sorry I can't reply to those of you who answered my How do they question - perhaps I'll never be able to use AB again!...sorry folks, I'll keep trying to find an answer to answer and if there are any typos in this, apologies for those too!

Woodelf -I've just had a thought...You mentioned in another post about ASDA informing you Explorer would no longer be supported -are you sure you are using Edge and not Explorer?

@APG.......I am thinking that perhaps woodelf has got into difficulty trying to replace Internet Explorer with Edge.
It would be interesting to know how he posted this thread we are now on. Also what equipment he used for his other postings and what Windows is installed ; is it Windows 7 perhaps ?
woodelf......Please, if you are able, give us as much information as possible and I feel fairly sure that one of us in this thread will have an answer to your problem.
Hans.

Hans, I am indeed having probs "changing" from Internet Explorer 11 to MS Edge but, unbelievably I am actually typing this and know that I am doing so. I am in, as far as I know, IE 11 and my edit field, which is the area in which I enter text, is working, as to where it wasn't before when I tried to reply to this thread's answers in which, if I remember, I was in Edge. Within the boundaries of AB, you can shout and swear at me as much as you like for messing you all about, with what seems such a small problem, but I kid you not that when I go into Edge mode, a lot of things change - and at the moment, for the worst. So, if I do get any answers to this particular part of the thread, I will first try to answer in Edge and note any differences and if unsuccessful, I will switch back to IE 11 and see how I get on. And Hans, don't forget to give me a mail if you need to chat about your lady wife and her eyes or the reason for the need to do so...my mail address was in an answer to you the other day. Right then, I shall post this and see what happens, but please don't expect an immediate reply. Many Thanks for all your help and patience.
G'afternoon woodelf.......I swear to the best of my ability, I am going to help you my friend.
Firstly, I suggest you download the Browser I use and you'll have a 'fallback' for if you are still unable to install Edge, in place of your Internet Explorer. Click the following to download Firefox.:-
https:/ /www.mo zilla.o rg/en-U S/firef ox/new/
Instructions......On the opening page...Click the box...'Download'
then..on next page.....'just the browser' then... 'save file'.....open your downloads folder and run Firefox Download File to install browser.
Having installed Firefox you can use it to install Edge, as follows:-
https:/ /www.mi crosoft .com/en -us/edg e
Instructions.....Similar to Firefox......save file...locate in Downloads folder and run to install.
You can have as many Browsers as you wish and go from one to another, as I often do. So keep both ,if you are able to download them successfully.
See how you get on. Incidentally, i have your address and shall bear in mind your kind offer.
Hans.

"Yawn!...blimey, it aint him again, goin' on about his blasted browsers, is it?...as if we haven't got enough problems of our own!" Yes, well, that pathetic attempt at selfdisparagement proves that I can actually reply to you all - "Huh, couldn't barely wait," says Lie-in King, with a knowing grin - but it seems that I can only do this by using IE 11 and coming into AB in the normal way, not by ansering the link in an email - it (whatever it is) won't let me answer after hitting the mail's link. So, long story short - "about flippin' time too!" sighs Lie-in King, "can't hang around all day waiting for you to sort out your problems." - so, before I was interrupted (interrupted?), I'm just going to stick to IE 11for AB at least - "We should be so lucky!" - hmm, I wonder who that was?...anyway, until I figure out Edge and its relevance, I'll use IE 11, but I will look at all you say Hans and try out your links, etc. So, Very Many Thanks all you ABers for your patience and I hope there was a smile raised somewhere while reading this. Take Care All!
