ok - thanks - it is just the table I want - you know a lightweight thing - I have loads of other heavy TV tables etc but would you believe I want this because of getting new carpet on Thursday and I am hell for spilling water or drink as I will leave them on the floor and forget about them so this will be suitable. just a wee kid I am - NOT LOL - ta ta guys

just measured and where I wanted it to fit when not in use - it is too wide 25" and the space I have would only be 15". so that's a no no

15" wide? That's not so much a table as a hall stand, I would have thought. (I'm just trying to suggest what you might like to search for).

Barry would suit but too expensive. I have two other sets of wooden tables - 3 of one set and 4 of another, then I have two TV tables but too much of a nuisance and heavy to put out for a wee beer or two.

this is what I have gone for as the good thing is it will fold up along the side of the chimney breast (like out of sight)

And the weight is just 6lbs ie 2.8kg (is that right).

Mamy you are correct I could use one of the many other tables (have far too many) but they are quite heavy and cumbersome and there is one set I want to preserve cos it was a present.
