Have any of our pensioner members actually had their letter from the DWP with details of the pension increase for 2022/23 - it has usually arrived by about now, but no sign yet of either of ours yet.
I can work out what my pension will be by back-calculating from my new Tax Code , but I'd like to have the official version.
Is there any way of accessing the information online - I can get all my HMRC business done via their website, but can't see how to access the DWP other than for the initial claim of a pension?
Be more than that for me DTC - just! I paid extra into SERPS for 18 years which initially doubled my pension. But because SERPS' increases have not equalled SP increases it is now worth only about 50% of the SP.
They don't tell you that when you're paying the extra money in. Swines:-(
Mine is through two days ago and then they have the nerve to strip away a credit under dispute from Covid even though the results of an appeal haven't come through - have challenged it it and they have very substantially reduced the 'lift'.....annoying though.
I was surprised this year how early mine came ! It was weeks ago and I remember thinking 'wow, that's early'. I would normally expect to be hearing any time now. lb - I'm sure you'll hear very soon.
