...is not my CB bliss but has made me both angry and happy.

Fr. Sheey, in 2009, attended the trial of a sex offender. When he was found guilty Fr, Sheehy went and shook his hand and comforted him as awaited sentencing.
Yesterday he stood in for an absent priest and performed what should have been an Anniversary Mass for some.
He spouted at length about the evils of contraception, abortion, transgenders, gay people, sex before marriage. How they were all committing mortal sin and would go to hell.
That is the angry part.
Bliss is that the congregation began to heckle him and many walked out.

It pleases me every time I witness Irish people refusing to be under the cruel thumb of the Catholic Church.

a "pro-lifer" who voted against legalising abortion in Northern Ireland has now been named minister for women

The only way to beat these people is to do what what they did, heckle and walk out and even more importantly cancel the standing orders and refuse to put in the collection plate.

The Catholic Church wont like it if hit in the pocket.

I hope his latest finishes this evil priest.
He has told our Taoiseach to be that he will go to hell if he doesn't confess his mortal sin of being gay.
We could laugh at him for that but.....
He went on to say that the reports about the Magdalene Laundries were exaggerated and that the Tuam Babies disgrace was a lie.

I had lunch with eleven women today, many Catholic, and despite being disgusted at his sermon and the timing of it we laughed at the man.
His comment on the Tuam Babies is going to replace laughter with anger.....a great deal of anger.
Sounds like an episode of Father Ted.
Question Author
If only, JD. He is nothing like Father Ted.
I have been watching a lot of True Crime youtube videos lately. I suggest that a woodchipper is an excellent way of getting rid of a body.

Question Author
Interesting, Wolfie. We have the wood chipper chap coming to deal with a tree lost in the storm this week.

However I'm now in a quandary. There are demands from priests, parishioners and others that his celebret be removed because of the damage he is doing to the Catholic Church.
Do I put him through the wood chipper or let him carry on with the damage?
Inclined to go with wood chipper after the Tuam comments.
Gness, I think that the catholic church likes the concept of ignoring all the crimes committed until the pesky priests die of old age. They just drag things out for as long as possible.

It must be difficult to be a decent person priest having to work amongst all the creepy and evil ones.

Down with religion!
Vote for Larry!
Question Author
Wolf, as long as decent priests, if there are any, and people support the Catholic Church the evil deeds will continue. My wish would be for the churches to be empty.

Larry for PM or Pope?
I am sure that Larry would make an excellent Pope and there are so many rodents at the Vatican he will be kept busy. But, remember he is 15 - he may need to employ some assistants.

We could train up some kittens, Wolf.

And more bliss. :-)
Men and women of all ages held a silent protest outside the church where the crazy priest preached his vile sermon.
Same sex couples waltzed together.

Stopped from preaching in a church he's now preaching in the street. If I believed in a God I'd think he's sent this vile weather with winds it's hard to stand up in to send him on his way.
Ireland's come a long way since my youth when we had to bow and curtsey to priests. Bliss.
The tide is turning, gness :-)
Question Author
It is, Patsy. :-)
I bet his kids would disown him!!
Question Author
I'm sure some would but maybe not all of them, Wolfie.
:-)
