Heads Up For The K M Players
29 Answers
Yet again the Telegraph has failed to come to the party so I’ll be reliant on someone posting the clues etc when they can ....
Regrettably this will have to be the end of the Links games ....from this participant. Having to be reliant on a third party makes it too unwieldy for me to continue, though I do hope someone will take on the role.
Anyway let’s just get through this weekend and see what happens

So sorry seekz to hear that this will be the last week that you will be running the K M links game. Like you, I hope that somebody else might take on the task, and keep the links game going.
Thanks Steff for all the hard work you've put into running the links game over the years. It's been very much appreciated.
Stay safe ; ))
xx

Hi Steff et al. Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the Telegraph Puzzles site. I've just signed up for a month's 'free' trial, and the clues are as follows:
17a. Missives; jottings taken to aid one’s memory; annotations; piano keys; birds’ songs; or, symbols representing musical sounds (5)
44a. Old Norse for “cloud” originally, later the nubiferous region occupied by said nephological mass; azure or cerulean; the heavens; weather; or, upper rows of pictures in a gallery (3)
45a. Alluded to in the stanza “full fathom five” in The Tempest, any one of the saline “mares” forming the oceans; a great wave; the tide; or, the maritime career of a sailor (3)
22d. Formed approximately 4.6 billion years ago during the Hadean Eon, our home planet (5)
Hope that you are feeling a bit better now Steff, and have got over the worst of the dreaded bug?

omg…..I wasn’t expecting that …..thanks, klazomaniac, that’s very kind of you :)
Thanks everyone …..I just can’t believe a national newspaper can have such an appalling customer service dept…in a word, hopeless !!
Chris…ever the optimist :))
Now if someone can just get me a copy of the crossword, I’d be a happy koala - I’m really missing this.

And thanks twix for the clues ….I’d like to know how you got through for the puzzle sign up …..that’s where I’m in strife.
I’ve been terribly lucky with my bit of the bug ….just seems like a heavy head cold, which is what I thought at the start.
Don’t like having a 6 month wait for my next booster though.

Hi Steff.
I've copied the crossword to a 'pdf' file, which I was hoping to be able to post here, but it would seem that The Answerbank won't allow such files to be pasted (probably too large). I also tried with a 'zip' file, but with the same results.
If you have a throwaway email address, I could email the pdf file, containing the crossword, directly to you.
I'm sure that the helpline will get things sorted out for you soon, but unfortunately they only seem to quote a UK phone number, which is impractical for you to call, especially being so many time zones away.
Cheers, Twix
