On the river bank with an even bigger trout for the freezer. A little bit colder than yesterday but still a nice bit of sun got through. Happy days.

Not on a holiday break, came back from Scotland few weeks back. Just fishing local now while the weather holds out. When my hands start to feel the cold it will be time to pack up until spring.

No, when my hands start getting cold its a sign to give it in. plus I'm not that keen to winter fish unless theres some sun poking through to keep the chill at bay. Fishing falls right off in the winter anyhow. Once you get cold you stop cold all day.

I have heated jacket and trousers but when that cold wind starts in cuts you up in no time at all, the fun goes out the window. Gloves of any kind sooner or later get wet.
