try answer 3 as "sausages" remember the terrier on Esther Rantzen's Thats life, in the 70/80's, that used to say "sor- sa- ges. a similar advert on tv now for Walls Pork Sausages, where the dog tries to pinch a plate of Sor - sa - ges

its me again, just had a thought about question one, it's possible that it could be a song from round that time called "The Lone Ranger" by a group called Quantum Jump, might be worth checking in the Guiness Book of British Hit Singles. seem to remember it starting with an indian chant, something like Tom-Car-Nicki-wa-wa...... and ending with "Hi-Ho Silver Away..."
