In answer to your post, it does seem that what started as banter, gets misread by some and it spirals out of control, i,ve had my fair share of arguments on here some right some wrong, a big problem is when your expressing yourself on here its only with words ie seeing someone in person and having a conversation is much better than typing words out and trying to think what reaction you are getting form the other end

Its true that what starts out as banter, can suddenly spiral.
I blame it on the lack of commas, seriously. Read some posts of long sentances and you can easily misconstrue what the aber is saying, especially when the subject involves speaking about 2 different people. Someone reads it (one of the 2 people), and immediately ask if it they are who the poster is referring, because they cannot distinction between one reference and another. Truly, it is the lack of punctuation most of the time, that confuses, as to exactly what the poster is stating.

Last nites case in hand. Someone(B) remarked on another abers(A) post. (B) said that she thought (A) was insensitive. (A) said she speaks her mind. Another aber(C) defended (A) and said she had a right to say what she thought, and told (B) that (A) was allowed to voice her opinion. (B) tried to explain that she agreed that this is true, but that she(B) also had that same right. But, no (C) still insisted that (A) could say as she wanted, but that (B) did not have that right. That is when I joined in and used the "gang" warfare pointer.
