plumbing advice needed - which shower
3 Answers
I am getting a bathroom fitted next week and need to buy a shower. Because the wall the shower is going on is lats and not brick the plumber recommends MIRA EXCEL or MIRA 415, as they are surface mounted etc. The only thing is, unless I can get them mega cheap on ebay I can't afford it. Would a MIRA Discovery or Silver do? If they would then when I order them over the internet what does ev, BIR etc mean and which one would I choose? Just in case it helps the plumber said that the shower head wouldn't be fixed it would have one of those rail things. I'm sorry if this sounds silly, it's times like these I wish I was a man and knew stuff like this.
Thanks for any help anyone can give!!!

I just don't havethe best part of 450 to spend on a shower. With the type of wall it will be on and the riser, which and what type of Mira Discovery or MIRA Silver would you recommend. The plumber said it has to be surface mounted but, when I've been on to various sites it doesn't mention that when it comes to ordering. It just mentions concentric and BIR, EV etc. I don't understand any of that and I feel stupid asking the plumber again. Please help!
