Saturday crossword
5 Answers
I enjoy general knowledge crosswords, but HOW does anybody manage the Saturday Telegraph one? Some answers I can't even find on the internet!! There ARE winners each week so someone is very very clever (or in the know!) Only joking!

The sat and Monday telegraph crosswords are good, have done them for a time now but yet to win, I did yesterdays crossword mainly with one look dictionary just google this site its excellent , as it takes you to other sites and I find the wording of the clue is the same as for the meaning of the word so I wonder if this is used by the compliler .
another good crossword in the Times 2 Gen Know in the Sat times and will be one tomorrow as Bank Holiday.
some have won the Telegraph crossword who use this very good site. All the best Happy Easter.

after I raised this last week Aquagility decided to hold a poll,, and reported the outcome in this thread -

poll result - The poll is now closed, Valkell having snuck in at the very last minute to give us 40 opinions altogether.
The raw figures are A - 20, B - 15, Undecided - 5.
I should say right away that the survey questions were badly framed. We had no votes at all for option C, and many of you were either uncertain or could not be entirely happy with either A or B. Clearly I should have offered more options to choose from.
My conclusions, based on your comments, is that most of you would like a slightly easier puzzle, but only slightly. Of course, we must accept that Kate cannot please us all.
Thank you all for taking part. I hope that you have read the comments posted, and that you found it interesting.

{at the start of KM's setting of this puzzle, a group of Abers complained about the easiness of this puzzle ....}
KM has to please all DT readers, not just those who are also ABers .... I hope that she succeeds.

Be positive and keep working at them. I tend to use refereence books ( ex-girlfriend reckoned I've too many but that's another story!!) and use Internet as last resort. They are do-able and thee's always a great feeling of satisfaction when the last answer goes in and the grid is complete. Best of luck with them.
