Intermittent connection

Hi - hope someone can help cos this is driving us mad at home...... why does my PC access some sites OK but not others - this has just started happening over the weekend and its not always the same ones eg I was in BBC.co.uk but couldn't access Answerbank, then a short while later got into Answerbank but couldnt access the BT website. Is this a connection issue or just the internet playing up?? Thanks, Tizzy
