Macmillan Earth, Wind & Fire Quiz

Thank you to everyone who entered this quiz in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. There were 31 all correct entries from 246 received, a draw was made and the winners were :1st (�40) Gill Willis, Alva, 2nd (�20) Mrs Roddy, Stamford and 3rd (�10) Marjorie Fielding, Bury.

Over �400 was raised for Macmillan. Fantastic!!

Our new quiz, Move with the Times is now available, the usual mix of general knowledge, anagrams and cryptic clues. Closing date 9th Jan 2009.

When I returned my entry I also sent �1 cheque for next quiz if there was to be one with a note but no quiz came back. I have today sent anothere s.a.e. with a note. I notice the cheque has not yet been cashed so if lost please let me know and I will send another. Thanks again for great quizzes

smouse, I noticed that I had made a typing mistake on Q89. I have contacted people today who kindly sent �1 in advance for the new quiz, but thank you for pointing it out to me. I checked several times before having the first batch of quizzes run off but missed that one :-(
