Everything blue on monitor!

Hiya, just got back from hols for week and turned on PC to find my monitor is displaying everything a lovely shade of bright blue. Everything is functioning normally and I can see everything but I can't work out how to get rid of the blue. Any suggestions?

Sorry but that sounds like your monitor is gone.

The monitor combines red, green and blue to make the picture. When one of these parts fails, you get an unusual tinge.

Time to buy a new screen I'm afraid.

But do check the cable is plugged in fully both ends before throwing the monitor away.

arguably - if it's been off for a week or two it could just have dropped the config (blue doesn't sound encouraging though)
